Cast iron
This iron-carbon alloy is known for its superior castability and machinability with a wide range of applications across almost every industry. We create all types and grades of cast iron, including
- various grades of ductile iron
- various grades of high-chromium irons (HCCI’s)
- Ni-hard irons
- Ni resistant irons

Steel alloys
By combining carbon steel with certain other alloys, we can improve its strength, hardness, toughness, and resistance to wear and corrosion, especially when combined with heat treatments.
Horizon Metals casts with all common types and grades of steel alloys, including:
- Low alloy steels (HSLA)
- Stainless steels
- Duplex stainless steels
- Various grades of “superalloy” stainless steels
Bronzes
Bronze and bronze alloys are famous for their low friction properties, resistance to salt water corrosion, and unusual tendency to expand slightly before setting, making it a superb choice for bearings, springs, statuary, and in shipbuilding. Horizon Metals casts with any desired bronze alloy.

Aluminum
Made primarily of aluminum and silicon, cast aluminum alloys are vital to the aerospace and automotive industries, among others. Horizon Metals can produce any grade of cast alloy to meet your needs.
